Jeff Morton’s projects are playful and experimental explorations of sound, sound-making, communication, transcription, and composition. Drawing from found and musical objects, materials, and technologies in performance, composition, and installation, Jeff’s work has been presented in galleries and festivals across Canada and internationally. As an arts professional with roles as consultant, project leader, producer, moderator, programmer, technician, and designer, Jeff works for curators, artists, and organizations across Canada.

Jeff lives in rural southeast Saskatchewan, Treaty 2, land of the Niitsítpiis-stahkoii ᖹᐟᒧᐧᐨᑯᐧ ᓴᐦᖾᐟ (Blackfoot / Niitsítapi ᖹᐟᒧᐧᒣᑯ), Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, Assiniboine, Očeti Šakówiŋ (Sioux), and the traditional homeland of the Métis Nation.
