Joyce composes concert music, works in dance collaborations, and creates sound installations and multimedia productions.
Two piano works, "la pierre magenta" and "Piano Peals" are published by the Associated Board Royal Schools of Music (UK). Her music is featured at international festivals notably at Biennale Musiques France, Birmingham Frontiers Festival and performed by Nieuw Ensemble, Australia Song Company, Austrian Reconsil Ensemble, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
Highlights of her multimedia works include "On the String" (multimedia, 2010, Lindborg, Khiew at Singapore Arts Festival), "The Canopy" (sound installation, 2011/2013, Lindborg, Yong at 2013 World Stage Design, UK), "Away We Go" (theatre of music, 2015, Turpin at NTU Centre of Contemporary Arts), "Fire Monkey" (site-specific dance, 2016, Arts Fission Company at Mapping Melbourne Festival), "Hearing Lines" (audio-visual, 2017 Asian Computer Music Project, Seoul), "Sounding Body" (dance-music, 2017, Raw Moves Company at Sydney InsideOut Festival), "Were we here?" (theatre of music, 2018, SETTS Ensemble Singapore), and "Pieces of Eight" (site-specific music, 2019, Lindborg, Hong Kong New Music Ensemble).
Joyce receives her composition studies from King's College London, University of York UK, and IRCAM. Since 2011, she joins as Vice Dean of Interdisciplinary Arts at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore.
